Hi, DaveTheNurse here on Q&A Friday – Our question today is
“How does your company handle no call/no shows?”
Great question!
You’ve got to have a plan. You don’t want to be the person to get the call when your provider does not call or show up at a scheduled appointment. If you don’t have a plan, you will likely have to jump in at the last minute.
Like other businesses, these things happen. Our solution was to put together a list of emergency help providers who could jump in at the last minute and take on the job. Of course, we had to play a little more for this last-minute service, but it was worth it.
Having a plan in place will help you keep your company’s reputation up, and help you to not let down your client’s family.
How might you handle situations like this? Leave a note in the comments. Hope that’s helpful Thanks for watching!
