Are you actually afraid to go out there and sell yourself? Cause I’m telling you guys, it’s very difficult to represent you. I’ve said this 100 times, I can probably sell you better than you can sell me. Here’s the reality – you will probably sell me better than I can ever sell myself.
We have the ability to self-doubt ourselves even when we’re the best at what we do. My goodness! It’s a flaw that I’m convinced every human being carries. I know I carry it for sure. I have insecurities, even though I own a very successful business that generates 10s of millions of dollars. But presenting myself as an individual? I still have insecurities.
It’s amazing, I’ve met more entrepreneurs who have spent the last 3-5 years getting credentialed academically, Masters degree in Nursing, MS, MBA, Ph.D. They get all the credentials, to make people say “This person’s amazing.” But they haven’t pushed themselves, and they stay hidden behind their academic schooling until they are credentialed enough from a wow perspective to go out there and deliver what they are trying to sell. Guys, all I can say is – just go out there and sell it.
