Have you ever met someone with a complete and utter disregard for their work and the people they work with? In today’s A-HAW moment, I cover a story about a nurse who had a ‘meh’ unteachable attitude that made an awful impression on people.
From a customer service perspective, this is a disregard of one’s responsibility. There’s also this misunderstanding that some older nurses ‘eat their young’ and some of that may be true. But other young nurses need to have a better attitude. Do not be a complainer. Do not be the one with the un-giving spirit.
These are the moments that nurses of all experience levels must avoid. Not only will this ‘meh’ attitude get a nurse written up, but it may also even get a young nurse fired. It is in this teachable moment that a person can grow and become better in the role.
