Dave Soltau, RN, BSN, is a Registered Nurse with over 24 years of clinical experience, precepting hundreds of new nurses in multiple clinical environments. Military-trained as an Officer in the Army Nurse Corps, he has provided care in the Emergency Department, the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, medical/surgical floors, and in the registry/per diem world.
As a serial entrepreneur, Dave has also co-founded two successful healthcare companies, Advanced Clinical Associates, and the ACA Wellness Institute, generating over $35 million in sales. His experience as a business owner has allowed him to manage tens of thousands of patient visits per year and lead a full-time clinical team of 60+ employees.
Over the last 12 years, Dave has interviewed hundreds of potential and future employees, giving him years of experience in the “people business.” Dave is also a self-published author, writing “The Student Entrepreneur-Money Making ideas for the Full-Time Student,” which educates undergraduates on making money while working towards their degree. Dave is also a public speaker, presenting to healthcare professionals in multiple educational environments.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). He is a 4-year ROTC scholarship winner and graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Kentucky in 1996. David was nationally ranked #1/250 and given the distinguished title of Regimental Honor Graduate in 1994 ROTC Advanced Camp, Ft. Lewis, Washington. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army as a First Lieutenant (P) in 2000, after resigning from Regular Army (RA) Commission after a 4-year military commitment.
David has spent 24 years as a Registered Nurse, with a clinical background as a Cardio-Vascular ICU nurse, charge nurse in level II Emergency Room, Clinical Nurse Specialist with Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) for a Medical Device company and a Per Diem/Registry Nurse. He has spent the last 13 years as the Owner/Co-Founder of Advanced Clinical Associates and the ACA Wellness Institute.
