In todays’ A-HAW moment, I share thoughts for your home healthcare business to have what I call a ‘pause month.’ This is the time when you literally clean the house. During the pause month, you and other business leads can re-evaluate your current policies and procedures, scrutinize your applications and your application process, check the status and dates on all your accounts receivable, and review your existing contracts.
We use our pause month to talk with all our current customers to make sure everyone is happy with provided services. We also run a Clinical QA/QI of our entire clinical process. We did this in December when we also met with all our current employees to review that all standards are being met, so everyone is on the same page and ready for the New Year.
