One of the ways I continue to survive in the nursing profession is by staying playful. It’s part of my personality, and I like to have fun in my profession. I can’t remember too many ‘bad shift days’ during my nursing career. That’s because I like to keep the approach light.
In my video today, I share insights into why I like to be in the moment. I like to be positive and have fun. You can improve your work by being positive on most days. If you work with very serious people every day, it may be difficult to bring levity to your day and theirs. But try being in the moment, while staying committed to your responsibilities and your work. You’ll find it makes a big difference.
